Nexus is a student association at KU Leuven built for one purpose: connecting ambitious law students with the firms shaping legal practice in Belgium — through case workshops, office visits, competitions and networking dinners.
About us
Building promising connections
Consulting and banking firms have long collaborated with student organisations in Leuven to meet future talent. In the legal sector, that bridge was still missing. Nexus brings that opportunity to Leuven.
We are a student organisation founded by five law students at KU Leuven. Our mission is simple: give ambitious law students direct, personal access to the firms shaping legal practice in Belgium — beyond the CV, beyond the job fair.

As a Nexus member you can apply for a range of exclusive events with our partner firms — small groups, real interaction, no mass-market job fairs.
Office visits
Visit a firm's Brussels offices for an introduction to its culture and practice areas, followed by networking.
Networking dinners
Informal dinners in Leuven where selected students connect with lawyers in a relaxed setting.
Case workshops
Tackle a challenging real-life case from a partner firm, guided by its own lawyers.
Leuven Case Competition
Student teams compete on a legal challenge set by a partner firm and judged by its lawyers.

Membership is free.
- Sign up — send us your details using the form. Membership is open to all KU Leuven law students, across all years of study.
- Stay informed — receive our newsletter with upcoming events and opportunities at our partner firms.
- Apply for events — as a member, you can apply for any Nexus event with your CV and transcript. Selected students take part in small, high-quality groups.
